Established in 1924, Wood Green Animal Shelters have grown to become one of the best loved animal charities in the UK. Their mission is: To take in unwanted and lost animals, provide shelter and care, find secure and loving homes, provide advice, support and guidance for pet owners and increase the public's awareness of its responsibility towards animals in society.Completely funded by charitable donations and currently re-homing around 5,000 animals per year, the organisation needed a convenient, secure and reliable method for donors to make regular contributions. What's more the solution needed to be cost effective and easy to manage for the charity.

The RSM2000 solution
As a fully approved BACS Bureau RSM2000 were able to provide the ideal solution – a fully managed Direct Debit collection service. Once signed up by the charity’s canvassers, supporters’ agreed regular donations are collected automatically via Direct Debit.What’s more, as a Direct Debit Bureau client, Wood Green Animal Shelters have secure access, 24 hours a day, to RSM2000’s unique Direct Debit Collection Management system (DDCM), with its suite of easy to use management and reporting tools that provide total control of the process. Enabling the charity to budget more accurately and plan for the future more effectively.
When Wood Green Animal Shelters identified an urgent need to provide prospective donors with the opportunity to donate via card payments on their website, they immediately called RSM2000. Working closely with their web developer, RSM2000 and its web payment system easily met Wood Green’s needs.
